Hello, Iām Sian.
I teach one-to-one Pilates and group mat classes for people who want to understand their own body, not just get through a class.
Some of my clients are rebuilding a movement routine after an injury or a long break. Others are already active and want to build strength, move better and stay injury-free. Either way, we start where you are.
I was first introduced to Pilates in 2007, when it was part of my professional ballet training at Elmhurst. Years later, a back injury brought me back to it. Pilates is what helped me rebuild my strength, and that experience is why I trained to teach, qualifying in 2025. So I know what it's like to come back to movement carefully, and what it takes to keep a body working well under demanding training.
Whether it's one-to-one or in a group, I pay close attention to how you move and adapt every session to suit you.
Sana comes from the Latin sanare, "to heal." That's what I believe Pilates offers: intentional movement that builds strength and brings ease back into the body.
